Our Couch

The story of our couch. When we first came to CT two years ago, we got a couch from a family at church, this couch was UGLY, but it was long enough for Matt to lay down, and he liked the design so we kept it (weird guy). In this picture with Shelby you can see part of it, red with weird birds on it.
Well, probably about 10 months ago we decided since the fabric was ripping and looked bad we were gonna get rid of it, so it was moved to the garage, for about 4 months. and then we moved.
At that point we decided we would try and re-upholster it. with ironically i thought would be easy :) Well this pictures are the finished product. its not professionally done. I took it apart, cut new fabric and tried putting it back together. for the most part i'm happy with how it turned out.
Stapling the fabric on to the frame was actually the hardest part, the cushions  were just time consuming. And even though we have a relatively new couch we can't use it anytime soon. because its in storage at the inlaws until we get a house. or a two bedroom apartment, or just anything we can have a living room in :)
